Robert Miles  - Predictor@home essentially inactive   |Tue, 13 Jan 2009 21:31:46 +0000
You might mention that the Predictor@home project has beem essentially
inactive for several months.
Costas Lazarides  - Why?   |Thu, 24 Sep 2009 00:06:28 +0100
Predictor@Home

1) Had a potential client basis of several million people
to whom it counted on to carry out research for THEM,

2) Got exposure through
a huge research client like BOINC,

3) Was inactive for months on end with no
or very few work units available to crunch and

4) Provided no information or
feedback to the active users who continually supported them.

In other words,
what you need to do to set a really bad example, stop being taken seriously and
at the same time set a great example of what other credible projects should try
and avoid.
